Hotel D. Luis - Elvas

I was shocked to find that i was charged more for a single room than my friends paid for a double room. The sliding bathroom door did not contain water well. I would've expected a complimentary upgrade after such inconveniences but i guess special treatment isn't part of their game plan. Just couldn't kiss this place a good review.

Good stopping point on our way to spain

Restaurant only serving buffet type evening meal. Still, not a problem as there aws a good restaurant about 100 mts from Hotel.

Charged excessively for a single room while similar doubles cost less!!! Shower water leaks out onto the floor!!! Sliding bathroom door doesn't contain water effectively, resulting in unnecessary mess!!!

We had a room overlooking city, the hotel was great looking. The staff team was excellent. Our twin room was fashionable, newly decorated. The venue was in a central location on the aqueduct. Food was great and fab, liked it. Had a fine stay here during our trip.

Good modernised bedrooms and a pleasant buffet breakfast. Good value for money with an interesting walled city nearby.

Great location right by the fine Amoreira Aqueduct. The room was comfortable and clean, and even included a private bathroom stocked with a hair dryer and toiletries. It was a pleasant surprise to have easy access to the old town. Just a short walk up the hill, made exploring easy.

Nice pool, parking nearby. Had free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Convenient location, extremely close to Aqueduto da Amoreira.

The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere with clean, modern rooms and a helpful staff. Breakfast was basic but fresh. The lack of on-site dining options and some maintenance issues in the bathroom, like leaks, could impact the experience.

Wi-Fi was solid, and the kids loved the game room. No fridge in the room.

Great wi-fi and off-street parking. Bathroom light timer is inconvenient.

The hotel is ideally situated close to the iconic aqueducts. The bathrooms are thoughtfully designed, especially for mobility needs, great for a comfortable experience. I appreciated the pet-friendly atmosphere. The city view was captivating.

The bed linen seemed somewhat outdated.

The D. Luis is conveniently located right across from the fine Amoreira Aqueduct, providing fantastic views and easy access to the old town. The room was comfortable, clean, and included a writing desk and good amenities. The breakfast offered a nice selection, including warm bacon and small sausages, which helped start the day on a positive note. The reception staff were very pleasant.

The only downside was the lack of a restaurant on-site.

I recently stayed at Hotel D. Luis for a family visit and had a fantastic experience. The location of the hotel was perfect for me, as it was close to my family and offered breathtaking views. The refurbishment added a nice touch to the overall ambiance. The hotel had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with well-functioning WiFi and air conditioning. The shared living room was comfortable and spacious, although I would have loved to have a bar or coffee machine nearby. I had a wonderful stay.

I can confidently recommend this hotel.
